“HTC lets video camera Re footage live to YouTube streaming”

HTC comes Friday with an update for their action camera Re with which it is possible to see images directly to YouTube to stream. The feature is however only available if the video camera is linked to an Android smartphone. A version for iOS is later to be rolled out.

The owners of a Re can Friday, the associated smartphone app update. The user must then log on to YouTube and the live stream feature. HTC specify in the notice that the action is then only verified must be before the livestreamen can be started.

The footage will be via the smartphone to YouTube, sent. Users can choose to watch the video, share with everyone, but there is also a private browsing available. The images can in this way with specific individuals will be shared. Users can via sms, but also through social media, invite others to their videos. The link continues after the end of the broadcast, which makes the footage at a later time.

It is still unclear when the update for iOS devices rolled out. HTC maintains the provisional on the first quarter of 2015. The video camera can continue recording storing on a micro-sd card, but videos can also on the smartphone or in the cloud to be stored. HTC has the camera in October introduced. The device has the form of a periscope, and videos in 1080p recording.
