“Apple increases prices of all apps in the App Store in the Netherlands and Belgium lwa”

Apple increases the price of all apps in the App Store for iOS and Mac. The cheapest apps, which are now 89 cents costs, probably 99-cent cost or even more. The main reason seems to be the exchange rate.

The company from Cupertino carries the price increase within a day, reports iCulture on the basis of an e-mail that developers from Apple have received. The mail, however, mentions not how high the price increase will fall out.

Apple wanted the prices anyway to adjust because of an EU rule which requires that companies vat should apply from the country where the transaction takes place. As a result, the Dutch users, for example, the Dutch vat to pay.

The American company reports, however, that the prices are higher because of the changed exchange rate. American users pay for the cheapest paid apps 99¢. There is no vat. Who is that price with the current exchange rate, extend it, and the Dutch and Belgian vat it adds up, comes in at 1,01 euro, while the price in the App Store currently 89 cents.

It is therefore obvious that the cheapest apps to 99 cents, while the more expensive apps, probably also with 10 percent to go up. What the new prices will be, will be Thursday later in the day appear to be as Apple, the new prices will publish in the App Store. The price increase applies to the App Stores of both iOS and OS X. Previously increased Apple already has the prices of its Developer Program.
