Research from the University of Twente among Amsterdam residents who wanted to connect with the church, that calling is still popular, especially among citizens who want to show that the street lighting isn’t good: in that case, six out of ten prefer the phone. Citizens of a move, want to pass, use about as often prefer the bar as the website of the municipality. Also with residents who want information to inquire about applying for a new passport or parking permit, are other means of communication together is more popular than the website.

That goes against the wish of the government that wants citizens in 2017 virtually the only digital with the government to communicate. “But even digital highly skilled citizens do not appear to be always and everything digital want to handle,” says associate professor Thea van der Geest of the UT in a written statement. The researcher recommends that the government, therefore, to websites, to any channel of communication with the government to bomb.

Furthermore, the research shows that citizens of Amsterdam at the most recent contact with the municipality, most often the counter have used: 35 percent chose before. 28 percent of the residents who wanted to connect with the municipality used the website on his pc; 26 percent chose to call. It is striking that smartphones and tablets were hardly ever used.
