“Consortium comes with standard cables 8k-tv’s”

The MHL Consortium has SuperMHL proposed, a standaardconnector for sending images to upcoming 8k tv’s. Because connectors so far have not fullled, the consortium, which includes Samsung and Sony include their own connector.

The 32-pin connector of SuperMHL is reversible and can, therefore in every way in a portable device. There is, however, a private connection is required, in contrast to the way in which mhl working so far. The current mhl standards work through each desired connector and many makers of smart phones have the micro-usb connector stopped.

The private connection is only necessary for 8k video, reports Anandtech. For 4k video meets any combination of connectors, such as micro-usb, usb type-c, and hdmi. On 4k supports SuperMHL more frames per second and more colors.

With this step focuses the MHL Consortium is no longer only on mobile devices such as smartphones, but also on the connection between tv’s and, for example, set-top boxes. The cable and connectors are not yet on a large scale is needed, because 8k tv’s are still not for consumers to purchase.
