Ubisoft removes drm from From Dust

A moderator of Ubisoft has through the forum of the publisher is made aware that within two weeks a patch will appear for the godgame From Dust. The patch removes the need for installation of the game online to verify lwa ren.

When the pc version of the godgame From Dust in mid-August appeared, there was the necessary fuss about the drm that the publisher Ubisoft in the game. Ubisoft had prior to the release of the game through it’s own forum indicated that only when installing the game contact had to be with the servers of the publisher. After release, however, showed that every time the game is started, contact is established with the servers of Ubisoft.

The publisher expresses regret for the confusion and promises that within two weeks, a patch for the pc version appears, that every form of online verification from the game removes.
