Sony announced at its Gamescom press conference in Cologne that the various third-party developers developing games for the PlayStation Vita. Sony also had a number of games from their own stable in store for his press presentation.

Sony made at Gamescom press conference in Cologne announced that the PlayStation Vita has the strongest launch line-up will have on the PlayStation brand. From stable announced Sony Resistance: Burning Skies and Escape Plan.

Resistance: Burning Skies is a shooting game that takes place before the events of Resistance 2, that both of the two analog sticks and the touchscreen uses. Escape Plan is a comical puzzle game in which two little figures called laarg can use and Lil need to escape from levels that volzitten with booby traps.

As with the launch lineup of the Nintendo 3DS threw Ubisoft his full weight into the fight with six titles for Sony’s new handheld. The games are Asphalt, Assassin’s Creed, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, Lumines, Michael Jackson the Experience and Rayman Origins. The Vita version of Assassin’s Creed will be a brand new game cover, as promised by Sony.

The games will join the various games already for the Vita were announced, such as Call of Duty, BioShock, LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Sony brings the Vita at the end of 2011 in Japan, Europe follows at a still unknown date in 2012.
