The American ontwikkelstudio Sledgehammer Games has a new game mode added to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. It’s going to be a sniper mode in which all players are only equipped with a sniper rifle. Also, the weapon used is new.
In the One Shot game mode all players are equipped with a SPILL-sniper rifle. In the game mode there are several classes to choose from, but that makes the weapon, no difference. The choice for a certain class does affect what perks and scorestreak-rewards players can use during the battles. Furthermore, players in the One Shot mode have less health than in other game modes, which rake shots almost always immediately fatal.
In the development of the new game mode worked Sledgehammer along with pro-gamer Nadeshot to pro team Optic. Nadeshot has mainly interfered with the composition of the five classes that gamers can choose in the One Shot mode.
Sledgehammer introduced the game mode in combination with a Double XP weekend. Gamers that the One Shot mode play earn to Tuesday evening 18:00 hours of double experience points.
