RIM brings BlackBerry Bold 9900 this week in the Netherlands

Smartphonemaker RIM brings its new flagship model BlackBerry Bold 9900 at the end of this week in the Netherlands. That report Nu.nl. The Bold 9900 looks like the previous Bold, but the device has a faster processor and a touchscreen on board.

The Bold 9900 will be the end of this week in Vodafone stores end up, while the unit early next week when T-Mobile will go on sale, reports Nu.nl. The new Bold has a 2.8″touchscreen with a resolution of 640×480 pixels. The device runs on a singlecore Qualcomm MSM8255 cpu with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The Bold 9900 is the first device with BlackBerry OS 7, the probably last version of the Java-based BlackBerry OS. The Bold 9900 was announced in may, after which Tweakers.net a hands-on published. It turned out that especially the browser is a solid update.

RIM brings in the coming months, more and more devices with BlackBerry OS 7 out. These are the Torch 9810 and 9860 earlier this month announced. There are likely to be the Curve 9360, and Curve 9380.
