Microsoft confirms the presence of App Store in Windows 8

Windows head Steven Sinofsky in a blog post confirmed that Windows 8 on their own App Store will have. Earlier this year, appeared the screenshots of the applications store, but Microsoft had it existed until now not been confirmed.

Sinofsky confirmed the news between the nose and lips, in a blog post about the development team behind Windows 8. On the newly launched ‘Building Windows 8’blog light Sinofsky on how Windows 8 development team is structured. Developers are grouped into 35 different feature teams, each consisting of 25 to 40 persons.

In an enumeration of the different teams is also mention of a group that works on the App Store. Thus, it confirms Microsoft rumors that have been several months around. In april appeared the screenshots of the application store, and in leaked builds of Windows 8 there are references to be found. From the analyses of these builds has already been demonstrated that the application store support for in-app payments, trial software and gebruikersreviews. Microsoft will be in mid-september during the Build conference, and more details revealed about Windows 8, and with the new applications store. At the conference, especially for developers, the software giant is also expected to be a preview version of Windows 8 release.
