“‘LG unveils the beginning of January the successor G Flex’”

LG would be in early January during CES, the successor of the G Flex are going to present. It’s going to be a smartphone with a bendable screen and the model is according to the rumors equipped with a Snapdragon 800-soc from Qualcomm.

Qualcomm has in a tweet announced that beginning in January during CES, a new smartphone is presented which is equipped with a Snapdragon 800-soc. Qualcomm has in the message, an image, from which it can be inferred that it is going to be an LG smartphone. The photo shows the back of the device, and buttons: this is typical for the smartphones of the Korean manufacturer.

On the picture is, on the basis of the pattern, to see that the housing is made of LG’s meebuigende plastic. Therefore, it is suspected that the pictured device is a successor of the previously released G Flex, the first flexible smartphone that the manufacturer released. If LG is actually a successor to release, it is notable that the company is again opting for the Snapdragon 800-soc: the G Flex also features these soc and the flagship models from most manufacturers are turning already on the Snapdragon 801 or 805.

LG has at the end of may confirmed to the successor of the G Flex to work. The smartphone would initially be in the second half of 2014 should appear, but that target date, the Korean electronics company is not achieved.
