“Facebook makes new privacy policy a month”

Facebook has the implementation of the much talked about changes in the privacy policy of a month delayed. Where the new guidelines actually on January 1, should go, is that according to their own site, which changed in January 30.

On the page that Facebook’s updated terms and policies announced, is the message that the company’s updated terms and conditions on January 30, are going to make. Users automatically agree to the updated terms and conditions if, after that date, to use Facebook.

The Dutch College bescherming persoonsgegevens, has recently Facebook requested the change to the current policy. The organization is research doing to the new privacy policy. The CBP would like to find out what the consequences of the new policy for Facebook users in the Netherlands. However, it is unclear whether there is a connection between that request and now published delay.
