EA has the free to play game Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes announced at its Gamescom press conference in Cologne. Wrath of Heroes is being developed by BioWare Mythic, which was also responsible for the mmorpg Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
Wrath of Heroes revolves around kortdurige player-versus-player pots. Gamers compete in three teams of up to six people against each other; the game is by BioWare boss Ray Muzyka described as ‘accessible, fast and competetief’. Players can choose from a list of predefined characters, while the play between you can switch.
Interested gamers can sign up for the beta program. In the autumn must finish the game and appear as a Play4Free game on social networks. Paying players of the mmorpg Age of Reckoning may be given additional opportunities in Wrath of Heroes, sign-Age of Reckoning-producer, Kai Schober.
