AMD’s new accelerated processing units in the C-series and E-series released. The apus for netbooks, ultraportables and economical desktops, to support memory with a clock speed of 1333MHz instead of 1066MHz.
The C-series codenamed Ontario will be on (40 nm) is produced and is with the C-60 extended. The C-60 has two cores on board, that at the same speed as the C-50 are clocked: the default speed of 1GHz can, however, thanks to turbo technology up to 1.33 GHz increase. Also, support for memory with a speed of 1333MHz added, where previously only 1066MHz memory supported. The gpu is also under construction: the C-60 has a HD 6290 with a clock speed of 276 to 400MHz on board.
The E-series or Zacate line of apu’s was extended with the E-450. The clock speed is compared to the previous model increased from 1.6 GHz to 1.65 GHz, and also of this apu is the memory support extended for ddr3 memory at 1333MHz tap. The gpu is a HD 6320 with 508 to 600MHz faster tap than the HD 6310 in the rest of the E-series is to be found. Also the E-300 is a new Zacate-apu and this chip is 1.3 GHz clocked. This model has the HD 6310 is still on board but has support for faster memory.
