Alpenf lwa hn introduces cpu-cooler with 10mm thick heatpipes

Alpenf lwa hn has with its latest processor fan assembly, the Triglav, a cooler on the market, whose main property is the unusually thick heatpipes. The Triglav makes use of three heat pipes of 10mm diameter.

The vast majority of the processorkoelers makes use of heatpipes with a diameter of six millimetres: a single cooler would be a trip to the heatpipes eight millimeter. Triglav from Alpenföhn, the consumer brand of the German manufacturer EKL, however, has ten-millimeter-thick heatpipes. As the company itself indicates, that ‘giant’ of heatpipes. In compensation, the Triglav, however, only three of heatpipes: for coolers with 6mm heatpipes is five or six a two-pronged number.

The Triglav was composed of a single cooling tower that is 46 aluminum cooling fins. The three heatpipes are, as seems to be the manual to indicate, in direct contact with the processor. The cooler weighs, including fan, 760 grams and comes with a backplate on the processor confirmed. The included 120mm fan has four leds and via the system board can be set at speeds from 850 to 1500rpm. The Triglav has a suggested retail price of forty euros.
