The rumors are also fueled by Jess Cliffe, who stood at the cradle of the mod in which the shooter is based on. He entered on the forum of Valve in the debate about the new version by the name Counter Strike: Global Operation to enhance Global Offensive.
The game would already be in the first quarter of 2012 appear on the market. The game would be new weapons, new grenades, custom maps and free ammo. Valve has not yet commented on a new version of Counter-Strike. It is not clear whether the title refers to an entirely new game or a custom version of Counter-Strike: Source. The new version would at least run on a custom version of the Source engine.
