FCC investigates telefoonblokkade by American carrier

The FCC has launched an investigation into the American carrier, BART, and recently the mobile-phone network in the subway network of San Francisco blocked. The organization wants to know whether the safety issue was.

That left a spokesman for the American equivalent of the OPTA to know. The FCC is collecting information about the situation, but it is not yet known whether there is a sanction pronounced against BART. The government will look particularly to the security risks which block the mobile network in the metro brought with it.

BART closed last week the mobile phone network in the underground of San Francisco, because protesters plan to make their demonstrations against the American carrier to coordinate via cell phones. This could be avoid because BART’s network in the metros in their own hands.

The conclusion of the telephone network, by BART led to a wave of indignation. The hackerscollectief Anonymous decided in addition, the website of the carrier to hack, after that all the passwords in plain text were saved. To say that simple sql injection knew a few hackers have access to the complete database, where the data of 2000 customers are stored.
