The ST50NF is the third power in the Nightjar series; previously, Silverstone power supplies with a power of 300 and 400W. The latest adds a little something of 100W on top and 500W power supply. Just as the 400W version of the 500W version features a 80Plus Bronze certification, but according to Silverstone, is the rate of return closer to the Silver certification. Most important achievement of the nutrition is, however, the absence of a fan; the power supply is completely passive, by means of heat sinks, cooled.

The outside of the 500W supply is a large aluminum heat sink and serves to dissipate the heat. The only exported the 12V-rail can 38A supply, accounting for 91 percent of the total power of the power supply. The power supply is not modular; all of the plugs are stuck. In addition to the 24-pin and 8-pin system board connectors there are six sata, six molex and two floppy connectors. A video card with two pci connectors to be fed, one of eight pins and the other six pins.

The power supply should be from Thursday in the virtual shelves, and must be exclusive of vat, at a suggested retail price of 129 euro.
