Apple charges € 1.60 per gigabyte for extra storage iCloud

Apple is in the Netherlands € 1.60 per GB per year for extra storage space with its service iCloud. Users get free 5GB, but can storage buy of 10, 20, or 50GB per year. The web storage is part of iOS5.

Apple has not only the prices published, but also the browser version of iCloud put live. That portal is still a test version and works only limited. Only developers who already have an iOS device with iOS5 have activated, you can log in. The webopslagdienst iCloud is part of Apple’s new operating system iOS5 and replaces MobileMe. Is expected to iOS5 in september or October for existing devices such as the iPhone 4 and 3GS.

Users get iCloud free 5GB of data. Including mail, contacts, calendars, applications, documents, photos and videos can the service be synchronized, allowing them to be automatically updated on iOS-devices, desktops, and in the version of the browser.
