Olympus announces VF3-eff to

Olympus has officially launched the removable VF-3-eff announced after the electronic viewfinder is already in the manual of the new E-P3 m4/3 camera came along. Also, Olympus has a suggested retail price of the new E-PL3 announced.

The new VF-3-external viewfinder is under the current VF-2-evf positioned. The VF-3 is smaller and four ounces lighter than the VF-3, but has a lower resolution: 921.000 subpixels versus 1.440.000 subpixels. For an E-PL3 including the new 14-42mm-kit-lens should be 599 euros to be paid.

In addition to the VF-3 announced Olympus also has a new advanced bridge camera. The SP-810UZ is the successor of the SP-800UZ and the model in particular has a greater zoom range. The SP-800UZ has a 30x-zoom lens, but the new SP-810UZ has a 36x-zoom lens with a wider angle of view of 24mm in film camera equivalents. Also has Olympus the housing of the SP-810UZ made smaller.

The SP-810UZ is equipped with a 1/2,33″ccd image sensor with 14 megapixels and a 2.7″lcd with 230,000 sub-pixel. The advanced bridge camera capable of 720p video in the mpeg-4 format recording. The SP-810UZ has the newer TruePic III+image processor and a 3d photo mode, in which two pictures from different angles are taken, a 3d image is built up. It is also a panorama feature available. A handy feature is the ability to the camera via usb charging.

The SP-810UZ is from the beginning of september available, but Olympus has not yet suggested retail price be announced.
