Apple would be working on a 15″ and a 17″variant of the MacBook Air if MacBook Pro will. An optical drive would be missing and the traditional hdd would like the Air to be replaced by a ssd.

MacRumors has heard that Apple is working on a 15″-ultraportable, but the site am not sure whether the laptop under the Air line or the MacBook Pro line is going to fall. It is suspected that Apple’s optical drive fails and the laptop provides of flash memory as a storage medium. This would make the laptop considerably thinner than the current MacBook Pro’s. The larger package of 15″-housing should allow for the relatively powerful cpus in the MacBook Pro’s cooling.

The website TUAW know here yet to add to it that the company from Cupertino also a 17″variant works. The laptop would, together with the 15″variant, the new MacBook Pro line. The laptops would be possible already for the christmas sale. The chance that Apple MacBook Pro’s yet this year’s refresh is not unthinkable. So get Apple to competition from Intel’s Ultrabooks and Apple are MacBook Pro’s until around march 2012, with new cpus based on the Ivy Bridge architecture.
