Developer CD Projekt Red announces a pen-and-paper-rpg based on the world of their own The Witcher series. The game is made by R. Talsorian Games, and appear in mid-2016. The game using the Fuzion rules.
‘Players can in the The Witcher Role-Playing Game from various characters to choose from that exist in the universe of The Witcher and completely new adventures in the world of Geralt of Rivia,’ says CD Projekt Red at the announcement of the pen-and-paper-rpg. The Polish studio makes the paper rpg together with R. Talsorian Games, which is known for the classic paper rpg Cyberpunk 2020. In the new rpg will therefore use the same ruleset as in the Cyberpunk game, the Fuzion-ruleset.
Players in the game use spells, rituals and curses from the game, like weapons and equipment that come from the various games in the series. Thus, players can compete against ‘devilish monsters’. The paper rpg would be mid-2016 to come out. The price is not yet known. It is not the first spin-off of the game. Fantasy Flight Games released before The Witcher Adventure Game on the market, a game based on the games by CD Projekt Red.
