Taliban accuse US of hacking

The islamic talibangroepering accuses the United States of its phones, e-mail accounts and websites of the group to have hacked. This would mean that false messages about the death of a talibanleider are spread.

According to the Afghan taliban, the United States has their systems hacked to make false reports about the death of a talibanleider, Mullah Omar, to distribute. That reports Reuters news agency. The taliban say that an American intelligence service e-mail accounts, mobile phones and websites would have been hacked to the rumors spread about the leader, who according to the taliban, is still alive. A spokesman for NATO told Reuters “no information” about the claims of the taliban to be able to provide.

The taliban have again with vengeance threatened against the Afghan telecom providers; they threatened earlier with attacks on telco’s as their networks during the night would not turn off. The islamic fighters fear that the telecom network may be used to help the taliban track.

The taliban were always reluctant with the use of modern technology, for fear that they will be used. In the last time started the group, however, internet and telecom services to use to spread propaganda.
