SysAdminDay was created by Ted Kekatos, an American system administrator. He was inspired by an advertisement of HP in which a system administrator was thanked for installing a printer, and a gift received. Therefore, he decided then itself, but it’s a special day for sysadmins in the life to call, since the last Friday of July is held.
