Modern Warfare 3 offers assistance to colour-blind players

Developer Sledgehammer Games is working on a Color Blind Assist Mode’ for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. By this option to add wants the developer to achieve that colour-blind players, yet the game can enjoy.

Michael Condrey, director of developer Sledgehammer Games, answers every week through the blog of the studio a question from a fan. This week is that the question of Nick Prynn, who wants to know if the color setting of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is to change, so that the game also by colour-blind players can be played.

Condrey confirms that the company intends to be ‘Color Blind Assist’ in building. The director thinks this 1 million fans of the series to cater. He bases this on research which would indicate that between 9 and 12 percent of the men suffer from a form of color blindness. A similar option was already included in Call of Duty: Black Ops, the shooter that was released in 2010.
