Konami introduces Teammates Control in PES 2012

Developer and publisher Konami introduces a new feature in Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 ‘teammates control’ is called. This new option in the controller allows players to during the game two players at the same time to control.

Teammates control is by Konami thought of the player more control over where the other football players walk if the player on the ball. The system enables the first player by using the right thumbstick a footballer point of which he’s in control wants to take over. By the right thumbstick then press, Teammates control is activated and allows the player to the designated footballer exactly there where he wants him, so you made Konami Wednesday known.

“We have been working for a very long time teammates control and we are happy that the system in PES 2012 makes its debut,” said Jon Murphy of Konami, in a statement. “We build all times on an operating system that allows you to the players can really make it do what you want. That gives you a second footballer also can manually control, while the first is running with the ball, so that all vectors arise. Add to this the Active AI improvements, which secondary players are better able to coasting, and the space can look up, then I think that we have made to the most advanced football game available today”, says Murphy.

The concept of teammates control is not new. Electronic Arts tried players already more in control of other players. FIFA 2004 introduced EA, therefore, ‘off the ball control’. The feature disappeared yet again from the FIFA series, after the by many was considered to be a drawback instead of an asset.
