Google appears to recruit people through a game. That game, Foobar, it is only to play when the user gets to see if the search results page folds out and a special mention shows.
If you search on technical terms, can be a box that pops up when the search results wegvouwen with the message ‘you’re speaking our language. Up for a challenge?’, or ‘You speak our language. Ready for a challenge?’. That writes a new Google employee in a blog post on The Hustle on the rekruteringsmethode.
That message leads to Google.com/foobar where users after logging in a Unix-like interface for get. After all levels had been achieved, took a recruiter contact him and asked for a cv, then the interview was set in motion.
It is unknown how many people the invitation to the Foobar page, and how Google selects.
