Developer gives first Doom game, new content

The very first child from the Doom series, who in 1993 came out, a new level. This is made by John Romero, who is also in the development of the original was involved. In the future will probably bring even more new content.

For those of you interested in the new Doom content the necessary files via Dropbox for download, so let Romero know in a message on Twitter. Those who use them will need to know how .wad files work; there are instructions on a Doom-wiki. The new level that Romero is made is called Tech Gone Bad, and replace the original battle with the final boss.

Romero had earlier already know that the project is a ‘warm-up’. He didn’t know what to do with that judgment is intended, but it is likely that in the long term, even more new Doom content will be released. The game came in 1993, and Romero claims that he since 1995, no new content for Doom has made.

While Romero is busy making content for the original release of Doom, this year there will also be an entirely new game in the series come out. Developer Bethesda is busy with a testing phase on which gamers earlier on could give. A precise release date is not yet known, but it is clear that there are versions for Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
