Dell wants to Force10 Networks, that networking equipment for data centers and offers to take over. The acquisition is likely to be the end of the summer to complete. Earlier this year Force10 Networks still plan to go to the fair.
It is still unclear whether Force10 Networks under his own name remains active after the acquisition, announced Wednesday. It does mean that Dell that it is the products of Force10 in its own portfolio want to integrate, which the pc manufacturer has a solid position on the market for network equipment in data centers. Force10 Networks focuses mainly on ethernet hardware, and recently released a 40Gbps-ethernet switch.
Dell hopes the deal at the end of this summer to complete; the boards of directors of both companies have already agreed. It is not known what Dell Force10 has paid. The acquisition of Force10, that earlier this year to the fair wild, follows the acquisition of RNA Networks by Dell in June. RNA is specialized in distributing a task across large amounts of servers.
