Aspyr Media, the strategy game Civilization: Beyond Earth for Linux systems released. The game appeared earlier for Windows and OS X. The Linux version of the game is through Steam.
To Civilization: Beyond Earth to be able to run, is SteamOS or Ubuntu 14.04 requires. The game has, according to the minimum system requirements an Intel Core i3 or an AMD A10 processor in combination with 4GB of ram. The required storage amounts to 8GB and the graphics performance is about a GeForce 260 video card from Nvidia or a faster card spoken.
Linux is the last platform on which Civilization: Beyond Earth is released. The game is since 24 October for Windows and november is OS X on the supported operating systems added. The strategy game is for Linux users, via Steam and GameAgent. That can, as yet, with a discount, but that is a Saturday night to expire. The Exoplanets Map Pack should still be bought, and that package consists of six maps which are based on existing exoplanets.
The strategy game is the successor of Civilization V and the game takes place on a different planet. Where in the past usually past earthly epochs was built, Beyond Earth is a more futuristic theme. On the planet should humanity a new existence, but that’s not going without a fight.
