Asrock released its latest motherboard designed for the upcoming generation Bulldozer processors from AMD, are shown. Former professional gamer Johnathan Wendel gave his nickname to the Fatal1ty motherboard.
The Fatal1ty motherboard is in the Profess1onal series released and get the name Fatal1ty 990FX Professional. The board is a AM3+socket, not only for the Bulldozer or FX-processors from AMD, but also cpus from the current generation to accept it. Four ddr3 slots communicate with the cpu and the board is of the high-end 990FX chipset. A power supply with sixteen phases ensures a steady voltage for processors with a tdp up to 140W.
Video cards can be in one of the three pci-express-x16-slots to be inserted, but one of the slots is electrically only with four lanes equipped, while the other two, over the full sixteen lanes. In addition, two pci-express x1 and two pci slots are present, as are six sata-600 and two esata-600 ports. There are a total of six usb 3.0 ports, four of which as the headers are made. Using a 3.5″-frontpanel can two usb 3.0 ports to the front of a housing to be carried out. That frontpanel offers also taking place on an ssd.
The Fatal1ty name is justified by two usb 2.0 ports, and two gigabit network ports with XFast technology are equipped. That red usb ports have delays of mouse and keyboard during gaming limit and the network ports would be bandwidth for gaming should give priority and latency reduction. The price of the Fatal1ty motherboard is, as of the launch date, still unknown.
