Apple is going to business customers soon, the Volume Purchase program offering for applications in the App Store are offered. This eliminates the need for business users no longer need for each client a separate license to buy.
The Volume Purchase programme was until now only for educational institutions to use, but Apple has included in a mailing to developers to let them know that business customers will soon every paid application with a volume license can be purchases in the App Store. A company must however, first sign up for the Volume Purchase programme and the associated terms and conditions to accept. Also, app developers must indicate that they wish to participate in the volume-licensingprogramma.
Apple also let us know that developers are also business applications, you can start to sell via the App Store, apps that are so specifically aimed at business iOS users.
With the introduction of a volume-licensingprogramma is Apple’s response to a long cherished wish of developers and business users. Currently a business customer for each application on an iOS device is purchased again and again the whole purchase process to go through.
