The loose hackersverband says evidence in their hands, to have Nimbuzz in some countries voip off, because voip over telecom networks, there is not allowed.

In countries like Syria, Egypt and Turkey would voip are blocked. This would help the company to censorship in such countries, with a questionable reputation in the field of human rights, promote. “We do not tolerate censorship,” writes Anonymous. The computer hacker group claims to 120GB at the source code of Nimbuzz in your hands and says these files are not yet fully want to release, but seems to suggest that ultimately want to do. Now are all a small part of the source code and a number of documents published. Incidentally, it is 120GB to sourcecode an incredibly large amount.

Spokesman Andrei Piftor of Nimbuzz acknowledges that his company, in some cases, voip is turned off. It would do so in cases which threatened to Nimbuzz completely block. “With voip off, can we users have the ability to offer instant messaging-sending messages,” said Piftor. The spokesman underline that, also concurerrerende services such as Skype in a lot of such, less democratic countries are blocked.

Piftor confirms that hackers have a source captured, and a part thereof have been published. This would include the source code of an internal communication tool, testbuilds and plans for future versions. The hackers would in any case not have had access to login names conforms to and passwords.
