Both the game and the movie Kung Fury are to see and download via Steam. The creators brought with 17,000 backers more than growth invested $ 630,000 dollars together via a Kickstarter campaign. The movie is free and the game costs just two euros.
The Swedish actiecomedy in which the oriental martial arts and all kinds of weapons in the ’80s-style the viewer and player to the ears fly, is a homage to similar films from the last decade of the previous century.
The story follows the cop Kung Fury of who a friend is murdered by the most dangerous Kung Fu Master criminal of all times: Adolf Hitler, better known as Kung Führer. Kung Fury decides to travel back in time travel to nazi Germany to assassinate Hitler and the nazi empire to ruin.
The Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg began his career as a director of commercials in 2013 to create a trailer, and then he in 2013 with a Kickstarter campaign started. The goal was 200,000 dollars for a short online film for a half hour. Later the target was revised to $ 1 million to make a movie of full length, but that was not met. Ultimately, it is a lot of money used for the post-production.
The project was mainly with green screen filmed making use of a Canon EOS 5D and a Sony FS700 camera. Almost the entire movie was in Umeå in Sweden, filmed. In order to have a Miami feel, are a lot of digital effects used. Some of the additional scenes and stunts were in Stockholm filmed.

The game Kung Fury: Street Rage is completely in beat – ’em-up-style run and has low system requirements. It runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and SteamOS, and will cost 1.99 euros. Also, there are free versions for iOS and Android.
