OnLive wants service to expand to Xbox 360 and PS3

According to an employee of OnLive talk to the American streaming service with Microsoft and Sony. OnLive wants games to stream to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The controller that OnLive uses, is compatible with both consoles.

“Our controller is a mix of the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox controller. They are compatible, it would just work”, stated Joe Bentley, OnLives vice president of engineering, in an interview with CVG. “People are talking of OnLive with people from Sony and Microsoft, though we will have to wait and see how that will end. However, it would absolutely work and we are willing to work with everyone to work together,” continued Bentley. If Microsoft and Sony are prepared to make the OnLive streaming service, that would be great consoles’ the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to Bentley.

Earlier this month, during the E3, showed OnLive how games streamed were to mobile devices such as tablets and mobile phones. Bentley saw for yourself how that may go together with the play of console games. “L. A. Noire is a great story and you can take weeks to fully explore. Why would it not be possible to take it with you and the story to continue? It is just like a good book.” Or Sony and Microsoft are interested, however, is not clear. OnLive is currently only available in North America. The service is later this year introduced in the United Kingdom. Onlive is also working together with Belgacom, but has not yet announced when the service to Belgium.
