Google Android 5.0.1 released for the Nexus 5, the update that the sms bug for Dutch users with a Vodafone subscription to resolve the problem. Earlier, it was the update already out for the Nexus 6 and Nexus 4.
Google has started distributing the update over-the-air and also has the firmware online. The update brings no new features, but only solves known bugs. The most important thing for a lot of Dutch users is the sms bug, where Vodafone customers are not or hardly sms you can send.
The update came last week, already out for the Nexus 4 and Nexus 6. Google took the sms-bug high: the release of the Nexus 6 is delayed in the Netherlands because of this software error. The Nexus 6 comes out this week in the Netherlands and will also in the short term be available in Belgium.
