Facebook try Chrome extension Facebook Friend Exporter is active to block in order to prevent that Facebook users can have their contacts to transfer to other services, such as Google+. That claims to be the maker of the Chrome plug-in.

With the Facebook Friend Exporter, users of the social-networking site the ability to input data from friends, such as email addresses and phone numbers to Google Contacts to export. Then the contacts in the new Google+ has to be imported. Mohamed Mansour, developer of the Chrome plug-in, reported, however, that the current version for many people do not work properly any more, because Facebook the tool would block it. The plug-in is already some time available, but won the last few weeks gaining a lot of popularity.

Mansour says to a new version to work, that the problem would resolve. Also deplores the developer to the fact that Facebook has no tools for the user to easily create Facebook contacts to export, so that it is on other social networks to use.
