The police wants citizens more often digital report. In the long term, over 230 of the approximately four hundred police stations are closed. In return, there will be more ‘resource centres’ and there is more police around the streets.
According to police chief Henk van Essen of the National Police drops the run up to police stations already, as he says in the newspaper AD. 230 of the 400 police stations have to close, but, on balance, disappear 200 locations where the police is active, writes the AD, because there are support points. The agencies will, moreover, only to disappear as the digital ‘services’ on order. The closure of police stations will be spread over ten years; to the extent known, there are no layoffs.
