Oracle is demanding billions for infringement of Java patents in Android

Oracle is demanding billions of dollars from Google, because the search giant in the Android Java patent violations. This is evident from rechtbankdocumenten which this week published. The lawsuit over the patents should be in november to start.

Google should Friday disclose information about the Oracle damage, writes news agency Reuters. That information should be apparent that Oracle indeed billions of dollars of damages suffered by the breach that Google makes to Oracles Java patents. Oracle got those patents in the hands after the acquisition of Sun, more than two years ago.

Oracle complained to Google in August of last year. In Android, according to Oracle’s seven patents are infringed. The seven software patents, with the numbers RE38104, 6910205, 6061520, 6125447, 6192476, 5966702 and 7426720, dating mainly from the beginning of this century and mainly relate to the way Java works.
