Motorola Droid 3 leaks out

A Chinese site has an extensive preview posted of the Motorola Milestone 3. The American manufacturer, the device has not yet been announced. The Droid 3 has a 4″screen, qwerty-keyboard and a dualcore Omap4-soc.

Motorola brings the Milestone 3 is expected in the autumn, but the Chinese branch of XDA-Developers had the device in hands and publish an extensive preview of the phone. The Droid 3, or XT883, a number that points to a release in China, not in Europe, but Motorola brings the smartphone probably the first in the United States under the name of Droid 3.

The Milestone 3 has a Omap4430-soc from Texas Instruments. The Omap4430 has two processor cores, each of which do their work at 1GHz. The soc based on the Cortex A9 is also used in the LG Optimus 3D smartphone and BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. The soc performs in the little saying benchmark Quadrant moderate with a score of around 1900. The Optimus 3D got right after the announcement a score of 2700, it appeared from the preview of Tweakers.net.

The next Milestone has a 4″lcd with a pentile matrix layout, and a resolution of 960×540 pixels. The pentile layout of the screen makes the Droid 3 less subpixels than screens with a traditional layout. The Samsung Galaxy S has a pentile screen, like the Google Nexus One. The camera of the Milestone 3 has a maximum resolution of eight megapixels for photos, while the camera also videos in 1080p and can shoot.
