Intel has four new processors for notebooks to its line-up added. The two Core i7 s a Core i5 and a cheap Celeron. The thermal design power of the energy-saving Sandy Bridge processors is 17 watts.
The economical processorlijn from Intel is characterized by relatively low clock speed and high prices. With the update that Intel Sunday, has made, offers Intel three new models with higher clock speed than their predecessors, for the same price. Information about the chips was already known, but Intel has now officially been processorlijn added.
So runs the i7-2677M, with its clock speed of 1.8 GHz, A 0.2 GHz faster than the i7-2657M. Both processors have the same price. For the i7-2637M, with its clock speed of 1.7 GHz, the same is true compared to the Core i7-2617M.
The Core i5-2557 with a clock speed of 1.7 GHz even 0.3 GHz faster than the i5-2537M, to Sunday, the only fuel-efficient Core i5 in the range of Intel. The Celeron 847 is a completely new chip with a clock speed of 1.1 GHz and a L3 cache of 2MB. The Celeron does not support HyperThreading.
