Lcd screens are massively switching to led backlight.
In principle, good, less environmental pollution, raw materials, longer service life and less energy consumption.
With heavy use I get, however, is often a headache of that kind of screens (laptops, tv, pc screens etc) and that turns out to not be so crazy!

A very bright screen is not good for your eyes, so in the house, and especially when it gets dark, I turn the brightness down, most screens can, incidentally, for my taste still not low enough. As icing on the cake, turns out to be a low picture the problem worse!

With a casio exilim camera, the eee 1000fps recordings, and guess what:
Nowadays you 9 out of 10 times, literally, in a strobe light, to staring!!!
click here to get in the mood 😉
Not healthy, and it shows.

After several screens los to have met and modified to have, (elco after the series resistor in parallel, an led) I found out that most manufacturers just the old backlight driver to use (they have, of course, have mountains of it) with a small modification pcb (constant current) set for the ledbar, swoosh! That is in the same pwm frequency as the earlier ccfl technology.
Led’s delirious, however, in contrast to ccfl’s barely any after, which results in that the screen is on and off is blinking on the square wave, which is usually below 200hz, much too low for leds!

However, it is possible that you move the throttle off, throttle on, off, half brightness is experiencing, but better AND easier to just get the power to vari lwa ren, for a constant brightness.
However, this requires a modification of the main circuit board, which manufacturers as long as possible to delay, it appears.

This screen of jama has, however, worked, send the backlight is on as it should be: by varying the intensity of the current. That saves me a hassle.
1000fps shots of the screen seem still icy, even on the lowest brightness setting, which, incidentally, is also decent low.
All in all this screen is a rest for the eye!

I have the screen for 90 euro bought, because the foot overall, which I didn’t need, because it depends on vesa it above my bed.

The viewing angles are good, however, don’t expect miracles in regards to the contrast for daily use, I still suffer from that dark details are eaten, more even than on my old TN, because blackcrush is definitely present. In addition, the buttons annoyingly positioned, and the build quality mediocre star. But the thing takes no fortune, and is in essence good.
