Today a day without too many highlights. This does not mean that the games that we have seen are bad, but simply that there are not that many really clear out stuck. My game of the day, however – and a good thing too. Forza Motorsport 3 looks stunning, has a number of nice new features and plays also delicious. I wonder if Gran Turismo 5, and here still stood out. An advantage of Forza Motorsport is that the game is probably actually true, unlike Gran Turismo, where we are now for years on waiting…

Another game that made me once again managed to surprise is Dragon Age: Origins. This game, we obviously know already, but the new pieces of gameplay that I got, were great. In addition, I had hands-on play with the console version of the game, which to me is a lot better than the pc version I at the end of april in London played the. The last title that I would like to mention is Homefront. I ran by coincidence a Dutch THQ employee against the body, who asked me whether I Homefront wanted to see. Well, I knew – what a spectacular presentation. The live demonstration showed a game with great graphics, frantic action and an interesting setting. A pity that Paul the preview is allowed to write…

The highlight of today was that I am Avatar, I may watch it in 3D. The game of course, not the eponymous film by James Cameron. Play was not allowed, but I have 25 minutes with 3D glasses on my nose, to sit someone from the Ubisoft development team, which of the three zones of the game showed. He had some time and could, therefore, not only the human perspective, but also briefly show how it looks like when you as the alien Na’vi plays. I go the next few days to delve deeper into the game.

Further, I looked very much forward to Heavy Rain, that today we could play. There was a short mission playable, and that was mainly to get used to. The pace and the controls of the game are different than I had expected. Not a game that you are immediately under the knee, at least not in its current form. I’m curious how the controls in the final version.

My day however started with a game where much less attention is: Fairytale Fights from PlayLogic. It is made in the private studio of the publisher in Breda, on the basis of the Unreal Engine. I had the game last year had already seen at the Games Convention in Leipzig. The version of then, however, was not much more than a techdemo and it was good to see that it is now up to full and game has grown, though I have of course not the whole game. Fairytale Fights would be the end of this year should be ready, and will appear for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and pc.
