For the second year in a row was castle The Berckt with a weekend-long theatre of the Barely, the annual gathering of the Tweakers.net-crew.
To the front of Tweakers.net there was perhaps little to notice, but behind the scenes was this weekend’s spooky quiet on the site. Almost the whole crew was to the Limburg village of Baarlo raised, where castle The Berckt three days long the exclusive domain of the fifth and the Mother of all Meets formed.
After a in some cases a very long journey – the Tweakers came from near and far, to Finland – took Barely a start to a Thai meal, the traditional pannenkoekenbuffet or a combination of both. Then it was the champagne in the intervals, and began the meeting officially. The bar was for many a great hangout, but also non-kroegtijgers did not have to be bored. Sleep was there the next day hardly, because the Saturday is traditionally the domain of a competition, where the always surprising with what activities the MT crew wants to thank. This year, with sharp shot: especially the paintball made suspicious a lot of enthusiasm and each blue spot was also the result of the dyes in the ammunition. It was the terrifying series of headshots that the three-year-old son of crisp put it: who gets the fraggen clear at an early age. The archery was fortunately mostly on the blazon and the geprikte balloon school (hitting it, however, proved another story), after which the Limburg walkers a safe refuge had to search, because our motorcade screeching buggies do not fit neatly within the lines of reed, and not everyone has the fairly simple instructions – “There is not, I repeat: *not* caught up!” – understood the value. To the last scraps competiviteit from the participants to presses, were the Tweakers who still have any energy left over had a climbing wall rattled. To the level of the crew to give: the best performance is here re-placed by a of the remainder of youngsters, a girl of not even twelve years old.
While the members of the jury the results of the meubelbouwen assessed, the participants were with a second challenge faced.
