Acer brings 17″-Aspire with AMD A8-3500M-apu from

Acer brings in about a month a new laptop for the mainstreamsegment with the AMD A8-3500M-apu and the Radeon 6650M. The model has a 17″screen with a resolution of 1600×900 pixels and should be approximately 750 euros.

Tuesday introduces AMD are Llano-line-up for the mainstream, consisting of A4, A6 and A8 apus. The A8 is for the higher part of the mainstream and has to compete with the Core i5 and Core i3 from Intel. Acer introduces Aspire laptop with A8-3500M-apu, Tweakers.net the manufacturer heard. The clock speed of the cpu part with four cores is 1.5 GHz, with turbo to 2.4 GHz. The A8 features the Radeon 6620G gpu with 400 streamprocessors and a coreklok of 444MHz.

The laptop will except about the apu on an additional Radeon HD 6650M gpu. AMD uses the designation HD 6720G2 for the combination of HD 6650M with 6620G gpu of the A8-apu. This 6650M has 480 streamprocessors and a coreklok of 600MHz. AMD speaks of Dual Graphics with the presence of the A8, and the additional gpu. The intention is that the combination in Crossfire can run and then a better performance results, although AMD still needed to work with his drivers to make this possible, notes Anandtech.

The Aspire 7560G-8358G has a 17.3″screen with led backlight and a resolution of 1600×900 pixels. Acer provides the model of 8GB of ddr3 memory, two hdd’s of each 750GB. Furthermore, among other usb 3.0, bluetooth 3.0, hdmi and a dvd drive. Over about four weeks, the model should appear on the market, and then around 750 euros in costs.
