Teufel has a new 5.1-speakerssysteem released. The Columa 200 is composed of four identical speakerzuilen, a central porter module and an active subwoofer with a Class D power amplifier built in. The Columa 200 costs 549 euro.
The German manufacturer who are speakers, sell online, positions the Columa 200 between the Columa 100 and the more expensive Columa 300. The Columa 200 is suitable for rooms with a size of up to 30m2. For the speakerzuilen the company makes use of two midrange-woofers of 70mm diameter in d’Appolito arrangement between a 19mm-dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The columns have a walnootmotief, except at the front where a shiny, black plastic is used.
The central speaker for speech in movies is acoustically identical to the speakerzuilen. The central speaker at the back on both sides and attachment points so that the component is easily attached to the wall can be hung.
The active subwoofer has a Class D power amplifier built in. This means that the subwoofer with a relatively modest power output of 150W and a diameter of 250mm still quite a bit of sound can produce.
