T-Mobile categorizes the EU-countries, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland as zone 1, while the USA, Canada, Australia, Turkey, Morocco and some Eastern European countries are in zone 2. The other countries are in zone 3, classified. Mobile internet is in zone 1, the cheapest: consumers can there for 1,95 euro purchase a day pass that is good for 5MB of data, or a 50MB day pass for € 4.95. There is also a weekpas that 14,95 euro cost and that unlimited data should be consumed. However, the speed with this card after 100MB down to 64kbps. For the other two zones may only have a day pass be purchased that is good for 2MB data traffic or a weekpas that gives you the right to 10MB traffic.

In addition, T-Mobile customers pay less to call abroad. For zone 1 is now 42 instead of 46 cents per minute is calculated. Answering a call is reduced in price from 18 to 13 cents per minute. These reductions are not voluntarily made, but a result of European regulations. The new rates are the maximum tariffs that a European provider by 1 July for roaming can count. T-Mobile has no information about the rates in the other zones disclosed; likely to remain the prices unchanged.

The fall in the price of T-Mobile does not come as a surprise. Commissioner Kroes wants the roaming prices go down, and try to ensure that the price differences between roaming and domestic use disappear.
