Google subsidiary Boston Dynamics shows an example robotdierenmishandeling in a new video. The company has a robothond with the name Spot developed, which employees a trap. The robothond withstand the kick without any problems.
Spot is not the first robothond of Boston Dynamics, but BigDog is a lot bigger and hardly as a dog to consider, more as a beast of burden. Also, BigDog, 109 pounds a piece heavier than Spot, that 72,6 kilos in weight.
Spot runs around on four hydraulic legs and scanning the environment and the terrain with cameras and sensors in its head. The sensors also ensure that the dog is up on its feet and remains standing as he a kick. Spot know to recover after a big kick and a side kick of another employee. It is not known how fast he can trot, but in the video shows that a man on a reasonable pace meerent with the animal.
Further, the dog can effortlessly over rough terrain to walk and a flight of stairs walk. The robot is intended for indoor and outdoor operations, in which the manufacturer probably thinks of rescue work.
