At the center of the dashboard dominates the touch monitor for infotainment. abundant and well managed and in front of it is really good; access to the rear seat & egrave; easy and for those who sit behind c & rsquo; & egrave; plenty of room for the head and also for the knees. You can & ograve; travel discreetly even in five: the only obstacle for those who sit in the center is; the central tunnel, a little & rsquo; cumbersome.

There are two air vents, controls to adjust the climate temperature and a 12 V socket, but no USB (unfortunately it is among the options). To offer greater versatility, the rear sofa is; adjustable longitudinally.

The trunk has a capacity minimum of 615 liters. The seats can be folded down to 1,655: numbers in line with the standards of its segment. The compartment is; large, with a regular shape, with a top that can be placed on two different heights but, underneath, there is no; the space to house the parcel shelf. & Eacute; also practical: a 12V socket and a courtesy light, 4 load securing rings and 2 hooks for bags or shopping bags.

TEST 1.5 TSI ACT 150 CV

The & egrave we tested the 1.5 TSI ACT , powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine with the active cylinder deactivation system and 150 hp : on this c & rsquo; & egrave ; the 6-speed manual gearbox , but you can also have it with the 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic.

Versatility of the Tiguan & egrave; one of its strong points: at ease in the city & agrave; but also on long journeys on the motorway. In city traffic, the large glass surfaces offer good visibility; and the overall dimensions are also perceived quite well. In the most popular car parks complicated are the sensors to help you: front and rear are already standard; in this version d & rsquo; entrance. If you really want to make things easier for yourself; simple, choose the rear view camera from the options.

comfort on board & egrave; the result of the excellent work done by the shock absorbers, which copy the bottom well: holes or roughness; they never feel too much. Among the options for a little more; of 1,000 euros you can also add electronically controlled shock absorbers and at that point also with 19 & rdquo; you always travel comfortably La Tiguan & egrave; well soundproofed: the aerodynamic hisses are reduced to a minimum and the rolling noise of the tires is also not heard.

Our 1.5 petrol engine can be have only with front-wheel drive while the permanent integral 4MOTION & egrave; reserved for other engines. The couple of this TSI & egrave; of 250 Nm , available between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm, so at the bottom, where you need it most; in today's traffic. With the manual it reaches 202 km/h of speed; maximum, an identical value with the DSG, while accelerating from 0 to 100 in 9 & rdquo; 9.

The steering is rather light but accurate. In general, the Tiguan & egrave; a & rsquo; car that always transmits safety, even if you travel a bit & rsquo; fast or on wet surfaces: it always has a very neutral dynamic behavior, without surprises. The narrow, winding streets are not exactly the ideal setting for the Tiguan, which certainly isn't. l & rsquo; car pi & ugrave; exciting to drive and not & egrave; certainly not even the car to take to the Mottarone or the Futa to do the numbers, for & ograve; on a slightly curved road more wide and fast if you increase the pace but drive it cleanly, if you are not too aggressive, avoiding excessive and abrupt load transfers, it will show you; that you can & ograve; trust.

The exchange 6-speed manual is fine for & ograve; honestly if I bought the Tiguan I would have no doubts and I would choose the DSG, more & ugrave; suited to the temperament of this car. In mode automatic allows a relaxing driving, with great fluidity; of march; it also helps you to drive more & ugrave; efficient, managing the changes to make you save a bit & rsquo; of fuel. And if you want to drive it a little bit more brilliant, will know; be even more & ugrave; fast.

The engine of this test, which was already; present in the previous version, it has the active cylinder management system which, when & egrave; possible, temporarily deactivates two, to reduce a bit & rsquo; the consumption; while driving you cannot feel the transition from four to two cylinders.

About consumption : the company declares values between 6.5 and 7.2 liters per 100 km. When we shot the video, between highway, suburban and a bit & rsquo; of the city, driving it even with a bit & rsquo; of panache, I traveled about 224 kilometers with an average of 6.8 liters per 100 km.

L & rsquo; Emergency Assist & egrave; the system that intervenes when it detects no activity; by the driver, who does not act on the steering wheel, does not brake n & eacute; accelerate: try to make him react and if the attempts are not successful, he brings the car to a halt to avoid an accident.
On versions with manual gearbox like this one, you can't; to have but the rest of the package costs 255 Euros.
