Stella Low is Apple & rsquo; s new head of communications

A similar situation arose in 2014, when Angela Ahrendts succeeded John Browett as head of retail. That position was also open for two years. For global communications, Apple has selected someone who previously worked at Cisco, Dell and Unisys. Stella Low will report directly to Tim Cook and will take over a number of tasks from Phil Schiller, who has been given a PR role since 2019.

Low will ensure that Apple's story is told even more clearly. It's not just about press releases about products and services that Apple makes, but also stories about the positive impact Apple has on certain populations. A lot of work has already been done on this in recent months: almost weekly press releases with & lsquo; feel good & rsquo; initiatives about people who got an extra boost thanks to Apple or had achieved something with the help of Apple products.

Tricky Moment
Low will also have to deal with public opinion about Apple as the company comes under fire in lawsuits and investigations into unfair competition.

Apple has not yet put a page on the website with a biography of Stella Low, but Cisco does have a more extensive press release about her history when she started working there. You can find her LinkedIn page here.
