Museums are a haven of knowledge, but also the source for a countless number of fascinating stories that help us understand our present better. An Editorial to the “treasure chamber of Berlin” by Rolf Rische.

Berlin has a unique treasure chamber of The Prussian cultural heritage Foundation. The Name sounds a little bulky, but behind the rather dry term-no more and no less than one of the most important cultural institutions in the world is hidden. The Prussian cultural heritage Foundation – or, in short, “SPK”. It is one of the largest universal collections in the world. A huge Museum – Yes, of course. But it is also a great experience.

The “SPK” in the German capital, in the gallery, and the still and still under construction in the Humboldt-Forum, 20 Museum buildings with the James-Simon -.
